The McB Team arrived at Nelson Ledges Friday Night to register and set up for the National Race Weekend. This is the first race for the MCR 77 team. Saturday, Mark Connolly arrived at the track to go over the final prepping prior to the 1st qualifying session.The temperature was not to hot yet, but was due to get warmer as the day went on. At 9AM the qualifying was under way. Mark was out shaking down the car to make sure all is working properly. Scrubbing in new tires for the race on Sunday. The session went with out any issues and was a clean session. Mark with a time of 1:17:861 he is currently 1st in GTL and 8th overall in the group.
After going over the car and changing tires and some minor changes to the car, Mark Connolly was getting ready for the 2nd qualifying session at 2PM. The temperature was getting warmer and did not take long for the tires to get hot. Mark's time improves a little bit more and was running great. No issues and with a time of 1:16:660 he was happy. With the merge qualifying results Mark is currently 2nd in GTL and 9th in group for the start of Sundays race.

Mark Connolly arrived at the track and starting prepping the car for the race. Put the newly scrubbed tired on, checked all the fluids, set the tire pressures and torqued the wheels. Mark is starting 2nd in GTL and 9th overall. Checker flag flew at 10AM for the 23 lap race. Mark was running good and hold his own. Car looked and sounded great. Mark Connolly finished 3rd in GTL and 10th in group with an impressive time of 1:15:790. The race was a clean race with out any incidents.

Larry arrived at the track on Saturday ready to get in his new SRF racecar to qualify for the national race. Larry is still getting use to this new car and states it is a lot of fun. Larry went out for his 1st qualifying session at 10AM and done pretty well. His qualifying session time of 1:20:103 puts him last in the group.
Mark Connolly went over the SRF car to prep it for Larry's 2nd qualifying session. Larry went out at 3PM to complete his 2nd qualifying session. With the warmer temperatures, Larry's time did not improve. His 2nd qualifying session's time was a 1:21:001 which still puts him last in the group.

Larry arrived at the track and was preparing himself for the upcoming race. The green flag flew at 1PM. Larry was able to complete 22 of the 23 LAP race since the overall leader lapped him. Larry finished the race with a time of 1:20:558 and last in group. The race was clean with out any incidents. There is room for improvement as Larry stated. Just needs more seat time in the new SRF car.
